YE Blogger Reviewed

by admin on August 3rd, 2006

I often get people emailing in asking for a review on their product or service, and sometimes I agree. I tend to agree when I think the site benefits webmasters. (Hint, I will not review your casino website)

This time it was Nathan Waters, fellow Australian and owner of the Young Entrepreneur (YE) Blogger network. It took me a while to understand what exactly YE Blogger provided; perhaps Nathan can work on clarifying the message for “new users”.

But eventually I got the gist of it; YE Blogger in simple terms is a directory. A blog ring. No not like B5Media, more like 9rules but less pretty. If you run a blog geared for Entrepreneurs, then this is the place to submit your site.

YE Blogger is the ultimate young entrepreneur blog network! It’s the perfect foundation to network with other young business people, to grow your blog and to immerse yourself in the brilliant content produced regularly by YE bloggers.

YE Blogger offers two things.

Browser Widget

YE BloggerA browser widget that works in the form of a plugin, designed to keep you up to date with all the latest Entrepreneurial news. Now to be honest, I normally don’t install Firefox plugins. I’ve got my Adsense notifier and Google toolbar and that’s all I need.

That said; the YE Blogger browser plugin is indeed nifty. It displays the latest posts from the Entrepreneur world, keeping you up to date with all the latest and greatest.

YE Blogger What I found cool, yet strange was the email and weather functionality. Seems like the developer thought, why the hell not - I’ll throw in some extra’s for that cool factor. It got me hooked.

Website Widget

YE BloggerYE Blogger also offers a website widget which allows you to display news headlines on your website, designed to keep your content nice and fresh. A classic example for bloggers would be to add the website widget to your blogs sidebar. They also allow you to customize the look and feel by editing the CSS, making it easy to blend in with your site’s template.

All in all, Nathan has a lot to learn but what I admire is the passion. He had an idea and went for it. Own an entrepreneurial blog? Add it now.
